Dr Zigs and Net Zero
Paola presented on our Dr Zigs change in packaging - how by using flat rectangular bottles in large letter size packaging we were able to reduce our carbon footprint by one third. I talked about our use of natural materials, including bamboo and coconut, and about our first totally plastic free Bubble Kit. It felt good to share.

Bubble Therapy in School: A Teacher’s Perspective
We know our Bubbles are loved by children but did you know that they’re loved by teachers too?! We’ve had more and more teachers reach out to us to rejoice in the effect Dr Zigs Bubbles have had on their class, or how happy the school was at the end-of-term fun day when someone brought them in. We’ve had Science teachers come to us telling us all about how they’ve used our kits to help children understand surface tension and basic physics.
Bubble Therapy
Mental health across all ages is on the decline and the stigma surrounding it is making it more and more difficult for people to reach out for help or even admit they’re struggling. We want to help change that. It’s ok not to be ok and Mental Health Matters aren’t just trendy hashtags and sound bytes to parrot off, here at Dr Zigs we take Mental Health seriously. This isn’t just about getting Bubble sales either, our Bubbles really do make a difference to your mental well-being. Bubble Therapy is a wonderful mindfulness tool and is brilliant for every age to practice and unwind.
Celebrating life (and grief) with Bubbles
Celebrating life with Bubbles is a way to celebrate the person we all loved. We mark the end of their life and the start of ours, with Bubbles. But most importantly, our Bubbles are often used to spread ashes, as a way for kids to send loved ones into the sky, and as a way to say goodbye. Life is always there to be celebrated, to be honoured, and to be acknowledged. For after all it is these other lives that make our own so very rich and meaningful.
