EID KIT RELAUNCH!!
We're thrilled to be re-launching our Eid Kit just in time for Ramadan this year.
We absolutely love this kit.
The original concept came back in 2014, when we first started working with Syrian refugees. We realised what a huge celebration Eid is, and how, coming at the end of the month of Ramadan, it is marked by sharing and the giving of gifts. We wanted to gift something to our locally resettled Syrian families and children, that very first Eid that they were with us, and so we came up with our Eid Kit. Since then we have made this more widely available, and over the years our Syrian community has grown and become part of our wider family.
This year we have finally been able to relaunch the Eid Kit with new, incredibly beautiful packaging, featuring 'Eid Mubarak' calligraphy artwork in the centre of a Bubble. The artwork is bright, golden and full of colour.
Inside the box, with our Giant Bubble wands, and simple instructions, we have also added a luscious Oud fragrance to our Bubble Mix, to create Bubbles that are beautifully evocative and sensory.
This kit is easy to use for children from the age of three, and of course for adults of all ages!
We hope that you love our Eid kit as much as we do. It has been a joy to create and work on.
Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim Bubbly family wherever you are around the world.
What is Eid al-Fitr?
Eid al-Fitr is the celebration of breaking the fast at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims around the world fast from sunrise to sunset. It is a time to think about those who have less, and a time to provide charity. As the month ends, Eid al-Fitr is celebrated with families and communities to commemorate and count our blessings.
Celebrate Eid as a Community!
Gift-giving is a big part of Eid celebrations. Gifts traditionally come in the form of money or sweets and are usually given to children. We wanted to create a kit that children both receive and could share and create great memories. Our Bubbles are fun, eco-friendly, ethical and loved by young and old around the world.
Oud is a fragrant resin extracted from the wood of an agar tree. It has a woody and musky aroma, which is warm and rich, and it has been used for centuries in perfumes and incense. Oud is particularly associated with Eid al-Fitr because it is believed to have been used by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a form of perfume. The use of Oud during Eid al-Fitr enhances the joyous and celebratory atmosphere of the holiday.
