Our Extraordinary Bubbles make people smile, and we want to spread these smiles as far and wide as we can. Which is why our Bubbles have been helping kids remember how to smile in some quite extraordinary places.
Dr Zigs Extraordinary Bubbles have gone to refugee camps in Lybia, Greece, and the West Bank, to children still suffering the effects of environmental tragedy in Chernobyl and Bhopal, to kids in orphanages in Delhi and Goa, for kids who work the rubbish dumps in Kenya, for Aids victims and orphans in Romania, Kenya and Uganda. For many years our bubbles were in the refugee camps in Calais and Dunkirk, and for kids arriving on the Greek islands of Leros and Lesvos.
More recently our work has been focused on the Palestinian cause, protesting, encouraging action, and have been used in protests up and down the UK and France. We had several Bubble Kits on the Global Sumud Flotilla and the Thousand Madleens. Our bubbles, along with the ships, are now currently impounded in Occupied Palestine.
We also work closely with Peace One Day, supporting them and their events with bubbles wherever possible. Once a year, for World Peace Day on 21st of September, you will find us in Trafalgar Square, bubbling it up for peace.
