At Dr Zigs, we started with our hearts. We cared about our planet, about how things are made, and about the world children are growing up in. From that care came some incredibly beautiful bubbles.
Our ethics, our sustainability and our care for the environment are what this toy company is built upon. The toys, the fun and the bubbles have all grown from there.
Seeing it written down here makes me feel hugely proud, and quite moved. There is a lot of my heart in Dr Zigs.

Our bubbles and the environment
We want the joy our bubbles bring to sit comfortably with the care we take in making them. Our giant bubble mix uses sustainably sourced, plant-based surfactants: the ingredients that help bubbles form.
We choose materials such as wood, cotton and bamboo where suitable, and work to reduce unnecessary plastic in our toys and packaging. There is always more to improve. We keep asking questions, reviewing our choices and looking for better ways to do things.
Dr Zigs is a proudly pro-Palestine toy company. We stand for Palestinian freedom, dignity and children’s rights, and we use our voice to say so.
Making toys for children means caring about the world they are growing up in. Every child deserves safety, protection and the freedom to play. That belief is part of how we run this company and the work we choose to support.
Bubbles Not Bombs: the healing power of play
We have seen how something as simple as a bubble can bring people together. Our founder Paola also established Bubbles Not Bombs, an independent NGO and Dr Zigs’ main humanitarian partner.
Working with local organisations, Bubbles Not Bombs gets bubbles and opportunities to play to children living through the horrors of war and displacement. These moments of joy, connection and childhood matter.
We care about building a business we can be proud of: what goes into our products, who makes them, and how we use our voice. We are still learning, and we welcome questions about our ingredients, materials and commitments.
This is what we mean by beautiful, ethical joy. Extraordinary bubbles, with care at the heart of them.
