To celebrate Autism Awareness Week, we are THRILLED to be launching our new packaging Sensory Kit – and a chance to WIN 3 of these beauties too.
One of the greatest thrills of working at Dr Zigs has been seeing what joy our bubbles can bring, how children, and adults with ASD respond to them, what a real change they can make to people’s lives. Over the years we’ve worked in many special schools, we’ve grown a fabulous ‘family’ of customers on the spectrum, we’ve had autistic employees and freelancers, and we’ve watched how the effect our bubbles can have is truly remarkable. One of our regular, long-time customers calls us the Wizards of Bubbles, because they have some ‘special kind of magic’. Another family use the bubbles as an essential part of their daily routine, without which they can’t get their day started. One of our older teenager friends does not interact with anyone at school without the bubbles. Some of these are extreme examples but there are so so so many more stories.
We see the joy, the study, the calming, the focusing, the enabling, the distracting, the fun, the laughter and we LOVE this.
It is with these stories, and experiences, and thanks to feedback from such great people that we have developed our award-winning Sensory Kit. Shortlisted for the German Design Award 2109 this includes differently scented bubbles, a hand wand, a foamer, a great booklet of sensory game ideas, (suitable for messy play too) and the same wands that were used to break our Guinness World Record. We love it, especially in it’s shiny new packaging, and I hope that you will love our new Sensory Kit too.
I too am an Autism Mum, honoured to be a parent to one of the most awesome human beings, who also happens to be on the spectrum. So, from me, with all my passion to empower, celebrate, and shout my pride from the rooftops – I bring you the most amazing, beautiful BUBBLES. Let’s celebrate!
